Growing Green is an annual education event hosted by Phelps County Master Gardeners, typically during S&T's spring break. Volunteer opportunities include everything from organizing the event and coordinating guest speakers  to carrying in supplies. This is the major education event of the year and takes months to prepare , so all members are strongly encouraged to find some way to contribute to the effort. Great opportunity for new members looking for hours, but also provides a "stretch" opportunity for more experienced Master Gardeners looking to move into public speaking / teaching roles. Lots of support is always available from fellow members who have volunteered with this in the past.
Volunteer opportunities will be announced at PCMG meetings, starting in the Fall.
